ABOUT OHIO STATE ALUMNI

What do you get when you combine talent from two legendary Ohio State basketball teams and bring in two Buckeye greats to coach the squad? A whole lot of success. The Ohio State alumni team has been one of the most intimidating forces in the TBT field the previous two years, bringing in star power from its 2010-11 Sweet Sixteen and 2011-2012 Final Four squads. Led by former NBA player Jared Sullinger and scrappy guard Aaron Craft, the OSU alumni team made it to the 2017 TBT semifinals before losing to Challenge ALS in a 2OT thriller. Back for revenge in 2018, coaches Scoonie Penn and Evan Turner called in a big reinforcement in the form of 2007 first overall pick Greg Oden. However, the team came up short in a quarterfinals matchup against Team Fredette. OSU’s roster is expected to have a few new faces on it this year, but one thing won’t change: the home court advantage that comes with playing in Columbus.
